It's not just about creating great looking video content, at Foldout Films we create videos that get real, measurable results.

This was an ambitious solo project before we had fully formed Foldout Films. The plan was to turn Bristol in to a miniature colourful toy-town and experience a day in this world. We love Bristol. From the music, the people, the art and everything in between. We felt this toy town approach captured that essence whilst adding a new unique perspective.

This film took over two months to create and was scored by brilliant Bristol based musicians Jilk.

  • Combined online views of 1 million +

  • Shown on BBC Points West

  • Featured in various websites, and magazines including Bristol Post,  Bristol 247, Bristol Life Magazine.

  • Screens on rotation at Big Screen Bristol, Millennium Square

Jen Wagstaff, the founder of CreativeMind came to us to create a crowdfunding video, to help her raise funds for CreativeMind's Top Performer Sales Journal.

Setting an ambitious total of £10,000 to reach their target, they wanted a film that not only delivered in showing the benefits of the journal but a film that was fun and creative, values at the core of CreativeMind's business.

  • We successfully combined the light hearted concept of 'A bad day in sales' with a more practical, informative crowdfunding pitch.

  • "It looks absolutely brilliant thank you so much for all your hard work! I am so impressed with the outcome and feel so excited about the launch now!" - Jen - CreativeMind

  • Successful Kickstarter campaign (92 backers raising £10,920 in 30 days)

To celebrate a year in business, to gain a little exposure, as well as for the love of making cool things; Wonderland Communications tasked us to turn Bristol in to a winter wonderland.

Collaborating with Wonderland we created a super stylised film; using time lapse, tilt shift post production, and sound design to create, 'Bristol - A Winter Wonderland'.

  • 35,000 + views across all platforms

  • Shared on various popular Bristol news and blog sites.

We were approached by Genus Plc to create a promotional video for their Breeder Tag System. The video would spearhead a campaign, alongside smaller social media clips, to increase sales conversions of this product. Whilst imperative to have testimonials involved, they were keen to create something that was visually engaging.

  • In keeping with their brief we kept the content of this film as varied as possible, mixing drone footage, interviews, time lapse, as well as live action footage. Doing this succeeded in making the film dynamic and engaging.

  • The film alongside the social media clips, were central to the 96% increase in revenue for the Breeder Tag System in 2016, which overwhelmingly outperformed Genus Plc's expectations.

  • 15,000 impressions and 7,000 views in the first week on Facebook.

  • "I have thoroughly enjoyed working with your team & the outcome was how I had pictured the video from the beginning" -

      Patrick Spencer, Genus Plc.
